About Goran Markovina

Goran Markovina is a contemporary artist working across painting and sculpture. His practice explores expressive form, material presence, colour, texture, and the relationship between creative process and finished work.

Through paintings, sculptural pieces, and creative workshops, Goran invites viewers and participants to engage with art as a physical, emotional, and exploratory experience.

Artist Statement

My work is rooted in exploration. I am interested in how materials behave, how marks carry energy, and how form can hold emotion, memory, and movement. Whether working on canvas or in three dimensions, I approach each piece as a conversation between instinct, structure, and discovery.
